’tis the season

christmas-shopping1Black Friday is one day.

The day after thanksgiving.

Not the day before, the day after, etc…

Black Friday has turned into the week of, the month of.

And for what?

Advertised items that they don’t have.

Gas wasted and parking spots hunted down.

No sale item found.

Cyber Monday is suppose to be the internet version of Black Friday sales.

There is no noticeable difference.

Time to bag the big stores.

storeShop local.

Shop small.

Support your local businesses.

Buy  from Indie Authors.

Buy local art and handmade items.

The bait and switch season is upon us.

Don’t be a victim to corporate greed.

Don’t go into debt to be jolly.

Tell and show your loved ones you care with simple pleasures.

Somewhere between Bah Humbug, and BUY BUY BUY there is a Christmas.

Remember the holiday spirit of it.

We can do better.
